Medjet Overview
Who Is Medjet For
It’s an evacuation-only protection designed for travelers planning to go remote in an independent or organized adventure trip. It’s only available for residents of the US, Canada or Mexico and options for people up to 84 years old are also available.
It’s a great option for:

What's Not Included
Medjet specializes in emergency evacuation and security services. This means it does not provide coverage for aspects such as trip interruption or protection against lost or damaged baggage.
For example, if your luggage is lost, your flight is delayed, you are robbed, or you misplace your passport, Medjet will not cover these incidents. To ensure comprehensive protection against various travel mishaps, it is advisable to purchase a travel insurance plan or use a credit card that offers travel insurance benefits.

The MedjetAssist membership offers the best air medical transport for travelers. Should you be hospitalized 150 miles or more from home, Medjet will coordinate air medical transport to the hospital of your choice in your home country, without requiring proof of medical necessity.

- Annual: For individuals or families under 75 years old, valid for trips of less than 90 consecutive days.
- Diamond: An annual plan for those aged 75-84, also valid for trips of less than 90 consecutive days.

- Collegiate: Designed for study abroad students and faculty, valid for up to 140 days.
- Expatriate: For individuals living or working abroad, available as six- or 12-month memberships.

What's Covered & Who's Eligible
Medjet has some restrictions so let’s look at what’s covered and who is eligible for one of their memberships.
Nationalities: Only residents of the US, Canada and Mexico are covered.
Pre-existing conditions: Yes.
Seniors Over 65: People aged 65-75 are included in the normal plans. For people aged 75-84, see the Diamond plan available.
Trip Duration: Short term policies (8, 15, 21 or 30-days) and long term policies (up to 90 consecutive days of travel at a time) available.
Groups: Individual, family, student and expatriate plans available.
Motorbike: Transport for both you AND your bike.
